* Accredited programmes:
- Jordanian National Programme from Pre-KG to Grade 12 Academic.
- British International Programme (CP- CS- IGCSE) from KG1 to Grade 11.
*Admission to kindergarten:
- Pre-KG accepts children born in 2021.
- KG1 accepts children born in 2020.
- KG2 accepts children born in 2019.

*Admission and Registration Criteria for Grades 2 to 12:
- The student must have successfully completed their previous grade, have good academic standing, and excellent behavior.
- Students must undergo a personal interview and a level test in English, Mathematics, and Arabic for the national programme, and in Math and English for the international programme.
*Required Documents for Registration:
- Documents required for Jordanian students:
- 4 personal photos.
- A copy of the birth certificate with the national number affixed and certified by the Civil Status Department
- A copy of the family book.
- A copy of the vaccination card.
- Transfer certificate for new students from the previous school.
- The last school certificate for students accepted in grades from the second to the twelfth grade.
- Certificates for grades 7 and 8 for students accepted in grade 9.
- School record for students accepted in grades 2 to 12.
*Identification documents for non-Jordanians:
- A copy of a valid residence permit from the Ministry of Interior and a copy of the passport certified by the student’s embassy and the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Palestinian students (Gaza) with temporary Jordanian passports need to provide a copy of their passport.
- Palestinian students (West Bank) need a letter from the Department of Follow-up and Inspection and a copy of their passport.
- Holders of Palestinian documents need a no-objection letter from the Department of Palestinian Affairs.
- Valid work permit for parents coming from Egypt and a copy of their passport.
- Security card for Syrian students.
- Other Arab and foreign students need a valid residence permit and a copy of their passport.
*For Grades 2 to 12 Students Transferring from Abroad:
- Transfer certificate.
- A Report card certified by:
- Ministry of Education in the country the student is coming from.
- Jordanian embassy for Jordanians or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for non-Jordanians.
- Upon arrival in Jordan, parents must obtain an acceptance letter from the accounting department after paying the required tuition fees to complete other procedures.

- The school administration has the right to cancel the discounts granted in the event that the parent does not commit to making the due payments on the specified dates.
- The administration of Universal Civilizations Academy reserves the right not to accept any student without giving reasons.
*Scholarship System:
*Academic Excellence Scholarships:
- Scholarship exams are held twice a year, in December and April.
- The scholarship exam includes (Arabic, English, Mathematics) for the national section and (Mathematics, English) for the international section.
- The scholarship discount covers tuition fees and does not include annual registration fees or transportation fees.
- The scholarship is available only for students in Grade 10 (currently Grade 9), Grade 11 (currently Grade 10), Grade 12 (currently Grade 11), and Grades 8 to 11 in the international programme.
- Scholarship announcements will be made through:
- Messages to parents of students in grades 9, 10, and 11.
- The website.
- The Facebook page.
- The scholarship exam must be retaken every year to maintain the scholarship.
- The Holy Quran Memorization Scholarships:
In order to encourage the Universal Civilizations Academy to memorize and embrace The Holy Quran, it was decided to give a scholarship to memorizers of the Holy Qur’an as follows:
- 100% tuition fee scholarship for memorizing 30 parts of the Quran.
- 75% tuition fee scholarship for memorizing 25 parts of the Quran.
- 50% tuition fee scholarship for memorizing 20 parts of the Quran.
- 25% tuition fee scholarship for memorizing 15 parts of the Quran.
- 15% tuition fee scholarship for memorizing 5-14 parts of the Quran.

Acceptance Policy for New Students
UCA welcomes all parents registering their children daily, Saturday through Thursday from 8:00 am till 3:00 pm. Registered students at UCA are considered as registered for the whole academic year, therefore, they must pay the school fees and all of the required fees in full, since their withdrawal will leave vacant seats that could have been occupied by other students, either in the classrooms or transportation. In case of withdrawal during the year, the student will not be excused from paying the rest of the unpaid fees; moreover, the amount previously paid will not be refunded.

I. Acceptance Policy for New Students

1. Students will be interviewed for admission.
a. Preschool students and grade 1 students will be assessed during an interview.
b. Grades 2 to 12 students will be interviewed by the head of division prior to the written placement tests (to be determined)
2. Students will be administered placement tests for admission. The school administration will be responsible for identifying the tests to be taken.
a. Students in grades 2 to 9 will sit for placement tests in English and Math.
b. Students in grades 10 to 12, will sit for placement tests in Math, English, and other subjects as determined by the head of division during the interview.
3. Applicants for grades 7-12 must demonstrate English language proficiency. Students in grades 1-6 who fail to demonstrate proficiency in areas that assess the English language (e.g. reading, verbal comprehension, expression, etc.) may be considered for admission if they demonstrate competencies in the area of mathematics within the expected grade level or higher Students must have a certain level of English proficiency to be considered for admission.
4. Children who have shown chronic failure in a previous school setting or who have required extensive disciplinary actions may result in non-admission or some type of stipulated placement. Students who are granted probationer admission to UCA will be placed on a three-month probationary period for evaluation of admission and placement decision.
5. UCA, typically, does not accept students who, because of educational, emotional, cognitive, or physical disabilities require special education classes or services to fully benefit from the regular classroom setting. The Principal may elect to accept a student with special education needs conditionally when the following conditions are met in the Principal’s judgment:
a. The student is capable of fully benefiting from the instruction provided.
b. The student does not require more individual attention than his or her peers.
c. The student does not become a behavior problem in the school setting or outside the campus.
d. The student is capable of establishing a rewarding social adjustment in the setting, without becoming the focal point of inappropriate and/or disruptive behavior.
6. The parent fills out the student’s record and submits the required documents upon acceptance.
7. Should the student be accepted, the parent will proceed with paying the seat reservation fees of JD 500 (non-refundable payment) deducted from the tuition fees, then he/she shall receive the acceptance letter and proceed with the admission procedures.
8. The parents should submit the student’s file authenticated by the Minister of Education from the previous school before the beginning of the academic year and pay the tuition fees.
9. UCA reserves the right to deny admission of any student without justification.
10. Parents/guardians must accept all school policies, rules and regulations in addition to signing all required forms. 13.
11. Parents/guardians shall bear responsibility to provide the school with probative documents needed of the student or any part thereof.
II. Admission Policy for Current Students

4. Students admitted to UCA might not be considered for admission in the following year if they:
• Fail to pay the tuition fees according to UCA Policies and deadlines.
• Fail to abide by UCA rules and regulations.
• Fail to remediate or improve their academic performance.
• Fail to submit re-admission form on time.

2. Students applying from outside Jordan
- Must provide a copy of their final report card or transcript.
- Must provide an original official attestation from their previous school stating the completion of their academic year, certified by the Ministry of Education, Jordan Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country that the student is coming from, then the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jordan.
III. Minimum Entrance Age Requirements
- KG1: Students must be four years old by December 31
- KG2: Students must be five years old by December 31
- Grade 1: Students must be six years old by December 31
