Under the umbrella of the Arab-American ​​​​​​​Bilingual Academy, recently called Universal Civilizations Academy, which was established in Kuwait in 1994, the school of Universal Civilizations Academy was founded in 2012 in Amman, Jordan.

One of the strengths of the school, as indicated by students, teachers and parents, is the respect towards the cultural and religious background of the community. A healthy relationship between the need for individuality, and the need for common values and standards, is fostered within the educational program's options and activities.

Leadership is committed to providing the best elements of eastern and western practices by empowering the knowledge that diversity of culture is a strength to be respected.

The mission of Universal Civilizations Academy is inculcated in everyday life at school, providing staff and students a focus for respecting individual differences and becoming responsible, socially-aware citizens. Tolerance, mutual respect, and cooperation are key elements that bond all stakeholders and provide a family atmosphere.

Effective leadership at Universal Civilization Academy (UCA) demonstrates motivational practices, serves as role models, rapidly adjusts to the challenges of establishing a new school, and consistently addresses the needs of all stakeholder groups.

The school provides ample technological equipment and access to the internet that is readily available for use by all students in every classroom during instructional time.

Each Early Learning classroom provides a developmentally-appropriate learning environment with furniture and resources for the effective implementation of the Montessori program

The focus of Universal Civilizations Academy is to create an atmosphere of cooperation by respecting individual differences and instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment in our students. Our Story

We started our educational enterprise establishing the Arab American Bilingual Academy in Kuwait in 1994. Fulfilling our mission to provide our students with the latest international approach and methods in education, we are proud of being able to maintain our Islamic Arabic identity and culture throughout our endeavor.

The great success that Arab American Bilingual Academy of Kuwait (AABA) has been achieved over the past twenty years motivated us to establish the Universal Civilizations Academy (UCA) in Jordan in 2012 with the purpose of achieving further success for our students while providing them with the knowledge that will enable them to accomplish academic achievement

Under the school’s mission, vision, and goals, UCA opened Tariq Branch in 2015, which offers the national curriculum for grades kg - grade 12, in addition to extracurricular taught in English for all grades, British program was added later.

The Universal Civilizations Academy has met all standard requirements established by Cognia (AdvancEd) Accreditation Commission and has been fully accredited by the Northcentral Accreditation Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), CIE (Cambridge International Examinations), Pearson Edexcel, and Oxford.

We are thrilled to earn this remarkable accreditation within a very short period of time, and this has happened due to the support UCA has received from its wider community.

In granting the accreditation period; Cognia (AdvancED) highlighted what it believes to be the distinctive strengths of UCA. It identified the school’s clear cultural identity; as the school places high emphasis on instilling the Jordanian cultural heritage, adhering to the Islamic religious values, and integrating the eastern and western cultures.

UCA is an accredited SAT and ICDL testing center due to its outstanding services and on-site facilities that meet international testing standards. UCA has been accredited as an examination center for the ACT Computer Based Test and Advance Placement Test (AP).

We provide individualized instruction for each student and utilize continuous and authentic assessments. UCA provides extra support classes to help all students with their learning.

UCA provides ESL and ASL support classes to help students develop Arabic and English language skills.

UCA is home to challenging and rigorous programs that leads to success. We aim to maximize students’ Internal and external test scores to establish UCA as a premier school on an international level.
